Current Topic - Tomb Raiders - Summer Term 5

This term we are starting a new topic, Tomb Raiders. We will be learning about the Ancient Egyptians including their beliefs, everyday lives and mummification. In art, we will be making Egyptian death masks. Our English text is Marcy and the Riddle of the

Sphinx. In science, we will be finding out about ‘Plants,’ including looking at roots, leaves, stems and how to help plants grow efficiently.

Year 3 have had a great start back after the half term. This afternoon we looked at onomatopoeia and created posters in Pop Art style. We even got to watch a bit of the Year 2 Great Fire of London activity from the window!
